New on AAAS: Supergiant Amphipods!

Read about a deep sea discovery in my latest blog post over at AAAS Member Central (pdf or link). Not just giant amphipods, SUPERgiant amphipods were filmed and captured in a deep sea trench off the coast of New Zealand. These new sightings and specimens of the supergiant represent both the biggest specimen ever caught (28 centimeters long) and the deepest they have ever been found (7000 meters deep).
