My First On-Air Radio Piece!

I'm currently working as an editorial intern at the public radio program Living on Earth. See the links under the 'Published Work' category on the right to listen to all of the shows on which I've worked. On this week's show, I was on-air for the first time. Listen to the entire show here, or just scroll down to the Emerging Science Note on hybrid sharks. I'll be reading one of these segments on the show about every other week. I also acted as the producer for the segment with grad student Wilson Smith, who is using the plant material lignin to smooth out unpaved roads. Very cool stuff!I'm excited about this internship, and I'll continue to post links to audio files of all the shows. You can also check your local public radio listings for when Living on Earth airs near you.
